Notes: I don't write yuri, but I found myself wanting to write a little. And, somehow, it's always with Hilde and Relena. (Wonder if that Duo/Relena site disappearing has something to do with it...)

Summary: Vacation time, and Hilde drags Relena out of bed.

Relena rubbed her eyes with the heels of her hands. “God damn it, it’s too early...”

Hilde looked at her from over the rim of her coffee cup. “It’s only 7 o’clock, woman. Drink some coffee and you’ll be fine.”

Relena yawned and scratched her stomach. People aren’t meant to be awake this early.” She dragged her feet towards the fresh pot of coffee and poured herself a cup.

“You’ll get used to it, I swear.” Hilde took a bite out her toast.

Relena started pouring a steady stream of sugar into the drink. “Vacations are supposed to be relaxing, Hilde.”

Hilde snorted. “Well, who’s fault is it that you decided to come here?”

Relena mumbled something as she poured in milk.

“Uh-huh. And who wanted to go to harbor in time for the 8:35 start of the boat race?”

Relena stirred her coffee.

“Well?” Hilde stood up and took her plate to the sink.

Relena drank her coffee all at once. She noisily dropped the cup into the sink. “Next time I go on vacation, I’m leaving you behind. You always try to make sure my terrible plans work.” She tried to give HIlde a glare, but she was too tired.

Hilde smiled. “Go get dressed. We’re leaving in ten minutes.”
